Essential Oils

Over the years, following her 1/3 profile in Human Design, Liz has been able to investigate and experiment with many alternative/complementary health therapies. One of the most useful items are essential oils. Essential Oils are distilled from plants through either steam or pressure. Essential Oils carry the natural chemicals that carry the essence of the plant (specific odor/flavor/energetics). These oils are used in food flavorings, medicines, perfumes, and aromatherapy.

Liz was first introduced to essential oils while attending the Barbara Brennan School of Healing. She loved using the oils so much she became a distributor of Young Living Essential Oils and uses these oils on herself and her clients to facilitate deeper healings. Young Living has therapeutic grade oils, which are 100% pure, unadulterated, uncut, free of chemicals, pesticides and heavy metals. If you want to purchase any of the Young Living oils at a reduced price be sure and sign up under her distributor number, which is 124520. Go to Young Livings website and find out more.

It has been her experience that using essential oils for specific reasons and in specific ways can definitely benefit you and others. She loves using oils every day and when working with clients, either healing or Human Design clients. When the session is done in person, there are real opportunities to shift the energies in the room to help open her & the clients heart, clear the space in the room and help facilitate the clients ability to connect to deeper issues in their lives with essential oils. Liz is not a physician and is not prescribing treatments to others. She is sharing her experience with these oils to help you and encourage you to investigate these oils.

For example, one time Liz used the Young Living (YL) oil called Joy, on a client during a healing. As she put two drops of oil on the client and then ran healing energy into the clients body, the client had a very strong recollection of a past-life in Egypt. Joy is one of those oils that has very powerful effects on others, either diffused into the air or applied. Often times while diffusing this oil in her healing room, people feel light hearted and cheerful.

Another phenomenal oil is called Thieves, also a YL product. According to YL, Thieves has been tested by a university and found to be highly effective against airborne bacteria. Sushil K. Shahi, A. C. Sukla, et al., Broad Spectrum Herbal Therapy against Superficial Fungal Infections,Skin Pharmacol Appl Skin Physiol. 2000; 13:6064.

Thieves has clove, lemon, cinnamon, eucalyptus radiata, and rosemary in it. She uses it especially during cold/flu season with a couple of drops on her feet and diffuses it into the air. She also uses Thieves household cleaner to disinfect and clean her home. It leaves a lovely scent in the air.

Sacred Mountain is a wonderful oil to use facilitate setting sacred space in your healing environment or a special area to you. When she has diffused this oil in her healing room its to set a special energy into the room for deeper connections to Mother Earth.

Gratitude is a oil that reminds you to be grateful for your life, with all your connections to Spirit and to others.

And just to add a bit of spice to the mix, she also uses other oils in her daily life besides YL oils. There is a particular oil called Nothing But Oils made by a company called Secrets of Eden. This is an amazing blend and the ingredients are: Pure Sweet Almond oil, Apricot oil, Avocado oil, Olive oil, Castor oil, oil of Oregano, Vitamin E oil, Lemon, Lime and Orange oils, Grapefruit seed extract, Lavender, Tea Tree Oil, Myrrh, Hyssop, Frankincense, Spikenard and Ylang Ylang. Go read about it at Secrets of Eden. This oil is fantastic and always has a very soothing quality for Liz when she uses it. Its especially good to have during the cold, dry winters in the Midwest.

More to add, come back again.
